Mickky's wife Sara interrogated

The Goa police crime branch today quizzed former state Tourism Minister Mickky Pacheco's estranged wife Sara in connection with Nadia Torrado death case.

Sara, who is facing a divorce petition from Pacheco, arrived at the Crime Branch along with Auda Viegas, President of NGO 'Bailancho Ekvott'.

Sara is being questioned over the death of 28-year-old Nadia, who died after she allegedly consumed rat poison on May 30.

Mickky, along with his close aide Lyndon Monteiro, is accused in the case. The duo is absconding ever since the Crime branch accused them for Nadia's death.

Viegas said that Sara married Pacheco in 1999 and their marriage is on the rocks since 2004.

In December 2008, Sara filed a complaint of domestic violence against Mickky, claiming that he abused her often and threw her out of the house.

Subsequently, in January 2009, Mickky filed a divorce petition seeking to separate from Sara.

Well put Mr. N. Fernandes. These people Mickky, Viola & Nadia have created a mess of our religion. They have broken every single commandment of the Lord. I do not think Nadia deserves any pity, Viola is nothing less than a follower of Devil, Mickky is the replica of Lucifer.

John W D'Souza it is difficult to understand which side you are on. At times you are pampering Mickky & at times you are against him.

To Neha- Cansaulim.

In an ideal world, I do agree up to a point with what you say. Marriage is a Holy Communion of 2 people and they should resolve issues themselves. One of the 7 "Church" sacrements of the Catholic Faith one is Matrimony. Of the 10 "Commandments" of the Christian faith, the 6th Commandment is "thou shall not comit adultery". The 10th Commandment is "Thou shall not covet thy neighbours wife". Putting these 2 Commandents in perspective...Mickky and Viola and Nadia have breached the commandments. These are classed as Mortal and not Venial sins. Unforgiveable.

Now ,there are 5 people involved in this mess. Sara, Viola,Nadia. Wilson Barreto and Mickky. I doubt the church could intervene in trying to resolve this mess. The Courts are the next step to resolve the divorce between Sara and Mickky. The Courts will also now have to decide as to why Nadia took the most extreme steps to commit suicide. What has driven her to such a fatal decision.

Mr.T.A.Barbosa Dubai, let me tell you that a husband-wife relationship is very holy. Nobody has a right to get involved in this relationship except the two. Their personal conflicts will be settled by them so we dont have to get involved in a husband wife relationship. They both will sort out their issues by themselves. If in a relationship any problem comes up and 3rd party gets involved then the situation becomes worse.

Has our democratic system so degenerated that we never think anything other than what money we would get by casting our votes irrespective of whom we are voting? I think a section of our voters has also become corrupt and selfish, who least bother as to who is being installed in the chair to loot the people for the next five years? Otherwise one cant explain as to why so many criminals and corrupt people are successful in occupying the chairs of power?
