Govt continues misguiding Goans on Covid cases, 65% cases hidden, 25 die in 4 days

Goa government insensitively continued misguiding people of Goa regarding which areas Covid19 cases are accumulating every day. In today’s health bulletin, almost 65% cases are hidden. It says 508 fresh cases are found today, but shows only 108 new positive cases at 20 health centres.
Goans are in total dark about where the balance 328 cases come from.
It is thus becoming difficult for the people to know if Covid cases are rising in their areas. The Directorate of Health Services is also least bothered about mentioning the villages or cities where fresh cases are reported. The officials are content with figures of 33 health centres.
Out of 33 health centres, 13 are showing a decline in Covid cases. But since 328 cases can’t be traced, we do not know if this decline is factual.
In the last four days of this month, total Covid positive cases have gone up to 2445. The cumulative figure of total positive cases till date is gone up to 19863. And the active cases right now are 4896.
Also 1170 patients have been cured in the last four days. Till date, 14747 have been cured.

25 DEATHS IN 4 DAYS
The death rate is also zooming up. In the last four days, Goa has reported 25 deaths.
After 4 deaths reported on the first day of September, the number shot up to 10 the next day and 9 deaths on 3 September. Till now, 2 deaths are reported today.
The number of deaths of the day goes up after the Covid bulletin is prepared in the evening as more deaths occur overnight.
Till now, Goa has reported 220 deaths. August had the highest number of 150 deaths in 31 days, with an average of five deaths per day.
September however has already reported 25 deaths in mere four days, with an average of above 6.
The death rate is still higher among the male. Only seven females are reported to have died out of 25 this month.
