Parrikar Govt dismissed

Following chief minister Manohar Parrikar winning the trust vote in the Assembly amidst pandemonium, Governor S C Jamir today dismissed the Parrikar government.
Leader of the Opposition Pratapsing Rane made an announcement in this regard at the Raj Bhavan gates, in front of the protesting Congressmen.
The Congress leaders had immediately rushed to the Raj Bhavan, demanding dismissal.
Goa PCC president Luizinho Faleiro condemned the way Philip Neri Rodrigues, an independent, was beaten up in the House by the police.
This is dadagiri of the BJP, he alleged, while demanding immediate dismissal of the government.
