Babush in police custody for 3 days, potency test proves positive

Former minister and St Cruz MLA Babush Monseratte will now spend time in the police lock up. He has been has been remanded to three-day police custody today, in a case of raping a minor girl.

The victim girl’s mother, who conspired with Babush, has also been remanded to the police custody.

Babush has also been proved positive in the potency test conducted at the Goa Medical College hospital.

After arresting him last night, former minister Babush was produced by the Goa police before the JFMC today.

Judge Vaishali Lotlikar remanded him to three-day police custody as the police pressed for his custodial interrogation to find out more facts about the case.

His lawyer Adv Rajeev Gomes did not plead for a bail but did not fail to state that the case has a political malafide.

To prove his point, he asked how half-baked information is going public if investigation is not complete, including the girl’s statement describing in what manner she was allegedly raped.

“The basic intention of this case is to malign Babush Monseratte, who is politically powerful”, argued Adv Gomes.

Interesting, the public prosecutor on behalf of the state was not present in the court.

Babush would be now again produced on 9th May, but in the Children’s court from now onwards.

Babush was yesterday taken to the Goa Medical College hospital for a general medical check-up and was once again taken today to the forensic department as well as the blood bank for his potency test.

Sources in the GMC told goanews.com that Babush has been proved positive in the potency test.

The political heavyweight has been charged of ‘purchasing’ the minor girl, seducing her with drink and then raping her at his Taleigao farm house in the month of March.

It is called arrogance, demonstration of macho power. Once you capture politics, have all the money in the world, next what you like to do is go around screw##g girls. Rane, Ravi Naik, Dayanand Narvekar they all did it. Others do it too. But poor Babush was caught with his pants down. And shameless wife goes around with him demonstrating her, kind of solid, support to the lampoon. How sick and disgusting.

i dont thing did babush did this i thingh some one removing angr on here for some relating bussiness other his medical could match the report itt is full pre plain game aginst babaush monsared
