Ex-minister Ramarao’s brother Rajesh found dead at the farm house

Rajesh Desai, younger brother of former minister Ramarao Desai, was found dead in their farm house today morning, in a suspicious manner.

Curchorem police have rushed to the farm house, situated at Soliem in Kakoda.

39-year old Rajesh was recently acquitted along with others in the infamous Samir Mapari murder case.

The police found his body lying next to the bed in one of the four rooms of the farm house.

Family members of former Curchorem MLA however do not rule out a foul play.

Ramarao Desai, who is on his way back from Udupi, told goanews.com that he has requested the police to probe the case from all the possible angles.  

Some of his friends, who also rushed to the spot hearing the news, told police that they had come to the farm house yesterday evening to wish him as it was his birthday.

Rajesh was a bachelor.

One of his hands is found turned black while there are some spots found on his legs, which look like snake bites.

Till the news was published, the mobile forensic laboratory van had reached the spot while the dog squad was on its way.

The police are not disclosing anything right now.
