Centre approves 6 new IITs, one in Goa

Six new Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) will be set up in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Chhatisgarh, Goa, Jammu and Kashmir, Kerala and Karnataka with the Union Cabinet on Wednesday clearing a proposal in this regard.
