Why ban Sanatan because of one person?: Goa CM

GOANEWS DESK, PANAJI | 23 September 2015 14:22 IST

Goa chief minister Laxmikant Parsekar has ruled out ban on Sanatan Sanstha in the tourist state.

A demand in this regard was made by his own Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Vishnu Wagh yesterday.

“You cannot blame the whole organisation because one of its members is suspected to be involved in a murder case”, Parsekar said while talking to media today.

Sameer Gaikwad, a Sadhak of Sanatan Sanstha, is presently being arrested by Maharashtra police, suspecting his involvement in the daylight murder of Com Govind Pansare in Kolhapur on 16 February.

The Maharashtra SIT is also looking out for two more Sanatan Sadhak, Rudra Patil and Sarang Akolkar alias Kulkarni, who are absconding since 2009, when the horrifying incident of bomb blasts had taken place in Margao (Goa).

Two Sadhak of Sanatan had died in the accidental blast of bombs they were carrying on the eve of Diwali night, on 18 October, allegedly to plant at the Narakasur competition in Margao.

Malgonda Patil, Rudra’s cousin and Yogesh Naik had died in the incident. However, all the six accused arrested in the case were released by Mapusa special court in 2013.

In fact the Maharashtra SIT suspects that absconding Rudra is the mastermind behind Com Pansare murder as well as killing of Prof M M Kalburgi, a Kannada writer, at his Dharwad residence on 30 August.

Wagh, while calling Sanatan a Sanstha of terrorists, has pointed out that its headquarters is situated in Bandora village of Ponda taluka of Goa.

“Wagh has not spoken to me personally. I have read it only in the media”, said Goa CM Parsekar.

Rather than rushing for a ban, he prefers to wait for the outcome of the police investigations.

“The case has happened in Maharashtra and not in Goa. We have to thus wait for its findings and take a decision accordingly”, he said.

Meanwhile, demand to ban Sanatan Sanstha, which started in Maharashtra, has also started echoing in Goa.

Goa Pradesh Congress Committee secretary Durgadas Kamat has demanded a ban on Sanatan Sanstha not only in Goa but the whole country.

“They are spreading hatred and dividing the country on religious lines”, he alleged.

A similar demand has also been made by the Goa unit of Communist Party of India.

What CM told is cent percent correct legally. Sanatan Sanstha is a spiritual organisation, working for preserving our Hindu Culture and traditions. Since it is exposing wrongdoings and corruption of some Anti-National NGO's and politician's. It is a well planned conspiracy to make Sanatan Sanstha a scape goat. Congress should first speak clearly about its role in The Massive Sikh Murder and the role of Tytler in the Sikh Murders. CPI should also make its role in killing of RSS members by CPI activists in Kerala. The Judgement of Margao Blast Case clearly states that Sanatan Sanstha was falsely framed.

This CM seems to be suffering from memory loss or being clever to protect hindu terrorist organisation.Have you forgotten Malgonda patil and company from sanathan and sanathan's role in margao aka madgoan blast. If the plan was executed as planned by sanatan sasta lots of innocent hindus life would have been lost.

SHAME SHAME to all goan DARPOK CM's who were CM'S (digu, U Turn specialist parrikar and latest parsikar )since the madgaon incident.
