Tejpal arrives in Goa, gets respite till tomorrow morning

Panaji district and sessions court extended interim relief of rape accused Tarun Tejpal till 10 am tomorrow, while the Tehelka founder editor arrived in Goa along with his family today evening.
The hearing, which started at 3.45 pm, would resume tomorrow morning as the petitioner’s lawyer has still not completed her arguments.
The court would then hear the lawyer of prosecution, the police, only after which Panaji district and sessions judge Anuja Prabhudesai would deliver her order on the anticipatory bail.
The anticipatory bail application was filed today morning while seeking interim relief for Tejpal till 2.30 pm.
Accordingly, Tejpal, along with his family, caught the Indigo flight at 2.30 pm to come down to Goa.
“I had received the summons yesterday and I would appear before the police today”, he told the media at Delhi air port.
