A lady doctor allegedly committed suicide on Saturday by jumping into Mandovi river along with her two infant daughters.
Doctor Vaishali Kambli was working with the forensic medicine department of state-run Hospicio hospital at Margao town, police said.
The children were 2 and 5 years of age. The bodies of the doctor and one of the children were fished out, while search for another child is still on.
Quoting a statement from Vaishali's family members, police said the doctor, hailing from Kolhapur in Maharashtra and living in Goa after marriage, was going through depression.
