Aires challenges CM to produce casino license rejection
GOANEWS DESK, PANAJI | 06 June 2013 19:24 IST

Social activist Aires Rodrigues claims that Goa government has not rejected license of Horseshoe casino, as announced by chief minister Manohar Parrikar.
Parrikar had announced on Facebook that he has already rejected license to Horseshoe, a new casino boat brought by Delta Corporation Ltd.
The new boat was brought as a replacement to the existing casino boat but required a fresh license.
“As per reliable sources till date the application to use the vessel as a Casino has not yet been rejected by the Goa Government”, says Rodrigues.
If rejected, he has thrown up a challenge to Parrikar to make public the copy of the rejection letter.

The need of the hour for Goa is more persons like Aires Rodrigues.
If the Goa government has rejected license of Horseshoe casino, it should not be in Mandovi River.

Aires Rodrigues**
You will have to wait, as Mr Parrikar is waiting to ask the new BJP "Poster Boy " ,"Gurur" or "svengali" Narendra Modi to draft the "rejection letter".
I can advise you right now, that you you will have to wait for a rather long while, for this letter.
I will tell you why.
First a tree must be cut down. It then has to be milled. Thereafter some paper suitable for a "Rejection letter" must be produced from it.
After the paper is ready, some Ink will need to be manufactured to write the draft.
The Advocate General of Goa, the highest paid AG of India, must then approve the draft.
The Goa Legislature will need to debate this draft. The Governor will need to approve this draft an put his Seal on it.
Only after all these steps, and many grey hairs later, you will see this Rejection letter.
In the meantime, crores of rupees will have exchanged hands in casino gambling on the Horseshoe.
You must know by now, that "Back-Door"(clandestine) deals, are very fashionable in Goa amongst the Ruling class elites.
I speculate it will be a very long while, before the "Horseshoe" vessel makes a U-Turn, out of Goan waters.
The current BJP Government is rather good at U-Turns and will advise how it should be done
