Cong releases 25-point chargesheet on BJP
GOANEWS DESK, PANAJI | 17 October 2016 23:02 IST
The Congress finally released a chargesheet against the BJP government, with 25 charges.
Naming the 12-page booklet “Parivartan to U Turn”, Goa Congress President Luizinho Faleiro released the booklet at a crowded Institute Menezes Braganza hall in Panaji.
Though the hall was full of workers, hardly two among the 8 MLAs – opposition leader Pratapsing Rane and Digambar Kamat – were present.
Faleiro however said the workers would now move from house to house, distributing the booklet and talking to the people about the Failure Report of the BJP.
Besides 25 charges, the Congress in the booklet have also listed several promises which the BJP did not fulfil.
The charges included the Government of Casinos to converting Goa into a Sin City and chopping down Goa’s identity – Maad (cocounut).
Though most of the party legislators were absent at the function, Faleiro claimed that the party workers have come together to bring the Congress back to power.
