Facilities at Fatorda Stadium as well as Tilak Maida in Vasco would be upgraded, besides a multipurpose indoor hall at Pedem.

“We have taken it up as a challenge to complete all the works and we are already one week ahead of the schedule”, sports minister Ramesh Tawadkar told the Assembly today.
The state government is spending Rs 218 crore to build infrastructure for the Games.
The same facilities would then also be used for the National Games scheduled next year in Goa.

“We are also setting up a dedicated electric sub-station only for Pedem complex”, said Tawadkar.
