Drowning tourist saved at Colva

A tourist from Coimbatore was today saved from drowning at Colva beach, 35 kms away from here.
The tourist Kamal Kumar was swimming in the sea along with his friend.
He as spotted by the lifeguards 30 metres seaward, spokesperson of Drishti special response service, an agency providing lifeguard services said.
"Since he was a weak swimmer, he drifted another 50 meters by the rip current," he said.
