Rapist was known to headmistress: Wagh

A ruling BJP legislator in Goa has alleged that the accused in the school girl rape case might be known to the headmistress.
"I guess the accused is known to the headmistress and the guard. It is not possible for an unknown person to enter into the school premises," BJP legislator Vishnu Wagh told reporters here last evening.
However, Deputy Inspector General of Police O P Mishra, has ruled out any arrests in the case. The seven-year-old girl was raped in a school toilet on January 14 in Vasco town.
Following protests, the headmistress Sharlet Furtado was arrested for negligence.
The parents of the victim had said that the girl was given a bath, her inner clothes were washed and toilet was cleaned after the rape, destroying the evidence.
Wagh alleged that the school authorities were probably trying to hide the incident, giving an opportunity to the accused to run away.
"The toilet is just 20 feet away from headmistress' room. The accused must have passed that side along with the girl," he said.
The headmistress was arrested after police inserted a section of destroying evidence in the case.
The crime branch is presently thoroughly investigating the case, but is still unable to nab the culprit.

Vishnu Wagh is no more than an "attention seeker",obsessed with himself and tries to sensationalise his views.
Vishnu Wagh should just stick to writing Fantasy Novels & Poetry.
He does not have the calibre of a good ,honest or clean Politician.

guys please don't act like the stupid National Media. Please re-check if your news title matches with your content?
Your own news says Wagh said "I guess the accused is known to the headmistress and the guard. It is not possible for an unknown person to enter into the school premises". Where as your title means that Wagh mentioned that the rapist was knows to the HM.
Why do you want to sensationalize the news by giving misleading title? Please don't do this. We come here to read the actual news and not the ones created by the journalists.

No Goan should trust Vishnu Wagh.
He is on a self- promotion trip.
The legendary "Humpty Dumpty" had both his legs on one side of the wall.
This Goan Humpty Dumpty , has one leg in Goa and the other in Maharastra.
As the Legendary Humpty dumpty had a fall, so will Vishnu Wagh.
Everyone knows what happens or the consequence of trying to sail on 2 boats at the same time!!
The world has witnessed many a "Buffon". Not sure where Vishnu fits in this group.

Mr. Wagh is proving that he has nothing in his big head and body. Probably he is proving he has a bigger mouth than his body. How can he just make stupid allegations. The above presumption is way out of line. Accepted, the Head Mistress is at fault in many aspects of the case, however, one, especially a minister from the ruling dispensation, cannot make such statements. Mr. Parrikar, why are you quite? You would do well to take away Mr. Wagh position as a minister and make him the Director of CID, or a DGP, since he is good investigating and providing results.
Mr. Parikar is turning out to be the Digamber kamat in the making. CM without a back bone, trying to save his chair.
