ANC cop 'captured' selling drugs to foreigners

Yet another drug peddler-police nexus has come to light, again this time involving a sub-inspector police official belonging to the Anti Narcotic Cell.

Prudent, a local TV channel, has shown clips of PSI Sunil Guddler selling drugs to foreigners.

Guddler was last year honoured for arresting an infamus drug peddler Dudu. He has also arrested ANC PI Ashish Shirodkar and other police officials in drug peddler-police nexus.

The conversation while selling drugs, as reported by Prudent, is as follows:

Girl 1:  I said this is a good officer...I like to do business with him..

Girl 2: Better to do with them...than to go out

(Girl 1 talks about another officer in the background ...Guddlar reacts)

Gudlar: I dont like that man.

(Guddler removes something from his pocket and gives to the other person sitting next to him)

Girl 2: Thank you

Girl 1: This looks better stuff compared to before

Gudlar: ...... (Conversation) ... before last year's...i dont know...

Girl 1: Yeah...I know...I don't trust anyone

Girl 2: You are very professional

(Gudlar smiles at the comment made by the girl.)

The video clip has also shown that the packet Guddler offered to the foreign girl was a packet of charas.

Police spokesman Atmaram Deshpande said he would be able to comment on the issue only after watching the footage.

Just recently the top brass seemed to have a clean slate on drugs, no drugs and no mafia in Goa.

At least they should not be so overconfident, vociferous in denying this malaise exists. Sitting on top perhaps they have short sight for ground reality. What a shame!
