10 Congmen threaten to withdraw support if Mickky inducted

Ten Congress legislators, led by PWD minister Churchill Alemao, have threatened to withdraw support from the party-led state government, if Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) legislator Mickky Pacheco is inducted in the cabinet.
The group led by Churchill said they will not bog down even to the dictate of the High Command to accommodate Mickky.
Addressing a press conference, they have asked All India Congress Committee General Secretary B Hariprasad to immediately rush to Goa to resolve the crisis.
The legislators said the government would be toppled within minutes if Mickky, a former tourism minister, is sworn in.
The congress legislators including Churchill , Joaquim Alemao, Agnelo Fernandes, Philip Nery Rodrigues, Fransic Silveira, Babush Monserratte, Pandurang Madkaikar, Babu Azgaonkar, Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco and Baby Kavalekar are lobbying against Mickky's induction.
Goa has embroiled in the political crisis after Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) asked both its ministers – Jose Philip D’Souza and Nilkanth Halarnkar, to quit from the cabinet.
NCP chief Sharad Pawar, this morning, asked chief minister Digambar Kamat to immediately drop NCP ministers and swear in Mickky.
“Mickky has a murder case against him. He is also named as an accused in money laundering case. We don’t want anyone with tainted character in the cabinet,” Alemao said.
He reminded that Congress party had dropped its own legislator Dayanand Narvekar when his name figured in the
infamous ODI ticket scam.
Churchill said their demands are on lines with the policy of Congress party not to allow tainted persons take over as ministers in the government.
The PWD minister said although Mickky's induction is a look out of NCP, the Congress party should have a say in it.
“What is the need to destablise the current cabinet? Why should two ministers be dropped to induct a tainted character?,” Churchill questioned.
The public works department minister said the Congress-NCP in Maharashtra dropped chief minister Ashok Chavan when he had a slur of Adarsh scam.
“Similar formula should be adopted in Goa,” he said.
State education minister Babush Monserratte said that the entire group is together because Pacheco’s induction would send a wrong signal.
Interestingly, Monserratte himself is booked by police for attacking a police station while his son was allegedly involved in raping a minor German girl.
When questioned why Monserratte’s presence in cabinet is not questioned by the group, Alemao refused to comment stating that they are ready to face the election even tomorrow.
Although the group has warned Digambar Kamat of toppling, Churchill refrained from telling whether they will pull out the support or resign enmass.
“We can even go without NCP in the state as we have enough numbers at our side,” the minister said.
The 40-seat Goa legislative assembly has 20 Congress, 14 BJP, 3 NCP, 2 Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party and 1 Independent legislator.
Kamat-led coalition government today enjoys majority of 25 members, including the NCP and the MGP.

All in all should should be given a COLD seat in goa and have all new faces(not the sibblings of ministers or MLA'S ofcource not) with professional qualifications and those having a history as social workers, who have worked for the interest fo the public without excpecting anything in return.
These are the leaders goans need to have, to find and vote them to retionalize the difference from the crooked, corrupt, and civilized world.

Mickky and Alemao, would be strange bed fellows in the same Cabinet, if NCP High Command has its say.
Secondly, senior Alemao deserves to be king for instantly assembling an array of support, provided Congress High Command concurs.
Meanwhile, poor voters are wondering if they will get governance they deserve, in the backdrop of series of scams tumbling out and most of all rising prices of essential commodities, oil, fuel, vegetables and ONIONS.
In the present scenario the voters will be rescued if new elections are held.
