The COVID 19 episode has exposed with evidence the illegal tourism going on rampantly in Goa.
Govt needs to immediately take steps to legalise this tourism as the COVID 19 episode is going to hit very severely Tourism, the major backbone of Goa’s economy.
MISTAKE IN ILLEGAL TOURISM EPISODE:
Sorry, there is a mistake in calculating revenue loss. Registration fee loss is not Rs 75 lakh, but Rs 7.5 Cr.
The TOTAL revenue loss is thus not Rs 34.35 Cr, but Rs 41.10 Cr.
