Crime against foreigners: Delhi tops, Goa second
INDIAN EXPRESS, NEW DELHI | 14 March 2016 20:03 IST

Despite its efforts to curb crime in the city, Delhi topped the list for crimes against foreign tourists with 135 reported cases registered in 2014, while the popular tourist state of Goa came second, at 66. The total number of crimes registered against foreign nationals in that year stood at 384.
There is, however, no comparison data as the Ministry of Tourism said it does not maintain such data and the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) began compiling such data only in 2014. Data for 2015 has not yet been made available. CLICK TO READ MORE
