HC directs Goa's acquitted model to face fresh trial for rape charge

The Bombay High Court at Goa has directed model Siddesh Dashrath Juvekar to face trial for having allegedly raped and cheated a girl from Navelim in south Goa.
Juvekar, a resident of Betul in south Goa was on November 13, 2013, charged by the Colva Police under Sections 376 and 420 of Indian Penal Code for rape and cheating. CLICK TO READ MORE

Is it necessary to publish such a news about a person who has been acquitted of all charges in the past?? How many High Court cases really come to light unless publicized by some media hungry Advocates? Seems like a clear case of extortion to me. RAPE has become a JOKE in India. Real rape case accused are out scot free and innocent men are harassed even after consensual sex, if the "promises" are not kept. Pathetic.
