Most-awaited English 'Potpuja’ to be launched on 3 Jan

The most-awaited English edition of the bestseller cookbook 'Potpuja' by Usha Vaman Bale will be released on Sunday, 3 January in Margao.
Varsha Naik, Assistant Professor of Goa College of Home Science will release the book at the Black Box, Ravindra Bhavan in Margao at 5 pm while also speaking on her research on “Nutritious values of recipes in Potpuja”.
Dinesh Manerkar, a writer and publisher, who earlier published Konkani edition of Potpuja and created a sort of records of exhausting the first edition within 18 days, will be the guest of honour at the function.
Set in a unique 5-week daily time-table format of breakfast as well as meals, this cookbook has over 200 ancestral and distinctive recipes from Goa.
While Printer’s Devil releases the first edition of the English book, the Konkani edition, published by Sanjana Publications, has already come out with a third edition within five months.
The English edition is the response to a global demand for the same.
Published and distributed by Printer’s Devil, Potpuja in English is being sold extensively online and will soon be made available at all leading book stores in Goa, said Sapna Sardesai, the publisher of Printer’s Devil.
