Iconic Marathi poet and Padma Bhushan recipient Mangesh Keshav Padgaonkar passed away here today after a brief illness.

Sad news. I was fortunate enough to meet him twice at Ravindra Kelekar's house. A gem of a poet and a humble, down to earth personality. May his soul rest in peace.
