MahaGoa Bar council defunct for 7 months, Goa AG takes over till then

The term of all members of the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa ended last week (2 December) with the Goa advocate general Atmaram Nadkarni having been appointed as chairman of the bar council.
The Herald Goa first reported his appointment and that a notification had been issued last Wednesday, with him commenting: “This is a rare distinction conferred on a Goan having regard to his professional standing.” CLICK TO READ MORE
