Ponda court dismisses AAP plea regarding Sudin's fake BSc degree

Ponda court today dismissed the case related to the allegation of fake degree of PWD minister Sudin Dhawalikar, filed by Aam Aadmi Party.
AAP is now planning to challenge the order in the district and sessions court.
AAP had sought a directive from the court to register FIR at police station against Dhawalikar to probe into the fake degree of BSc.
AAP had approached the court as Ponda police had declined to register FIR against Dhawalikar.
AAP alleges that Dhawalikar, while contesting the last Assembly election, had sworn a false affidavit that he is a BSc graduate.
JMFC Apurva Nagvekar did not find any merit in the application made by two AAP members – Pradip Ghadi Amonkar and Mujahid Rizvi.
After inquiring with the Bombay University, Ponda police had submitted in the court that Dhawalikar’s BSc degree is genuine.
The court had heard both the parties on 23 September while the order was delivered today.
