In protest of Modi, Ashok Vajpayee follows Sehgal; returns SA award

After writer Nayantara Sahgal returned the Sahitya Akademi Award to express solidarity with Indians upholding “the right to dissent”, poet Ashok Vajpeyi too has given back the prestigious award and targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his silence on recent incidents of violence.
“It is high time that writers take a stand,” said Vajpeyi, a former chairperson of the Lalit Kala Akademi.

Look at the names who returned their awards. They are Shashi Despande, Ashok Vajpaeyee,Nayantara Sehgal,Sara Joseph,Sacchidanad ...they all ahve roblem with Sahiya akadmi or Dadri incident. One thing is sure that most of them have Congress connection or c ommunist connection and it i their big qualification for getting prestigious award! Until now there were hundred of violences, terror attacks, comunal unrest,one of the biggest communal suffering in Kashmir, Keral etc. but, none of this Congress brand people ever cried over sorrowful happenings and suddenly their souls are crying! I must say they all are hypocrates just to bad name BJP govrnment. This is one of the dirtiest plans of Congress to finish Modi and BJP government. I do not give a damn to all of these people.
