Over 100 Goa PSIs to be trained in Gujarat

Good infrastructure facilities coupled with modern training modules at the Gujarat Police Academy in Karai in Gandhinagar has impressed Goa Police, which will send its newly-recruited 104 Sub Inspectors (SIs) for training here, a senior police official said.
"Goa police is impressed with the infrastructure at the Karai Academy here. Also, the training and operations, which prepare an officer to deal with various circumstances, has impressed Goa police," Gujarat Police Academy joint director Atul Karwal said.
"104 candidates, who have been recruited to the rank of Sub-Inspector recently, will receive their training at the Gujarat Police Academy at Karai in Gandhinagar," Karwal said.
He said this is not the first time such an inter-state police training programme is taking place.
A few years ago, candidates who were recruited as constables by Jharkhand Police were offered training here, he said.
"Goa does not have a training academy which can train such a large number of recruits. They approached Gujarat police some months ago for resource sharing, to which Gujarat police obliged," another senior police official said.
Karwal said Goa Police would be offered similar training like their counterparts from Gujarat and the experience sharing would be an added benefit.
Gujarat Director General of Police (in-charge) Pramod Kumar said the police recruits from Goa, a tourism-driven state, will be given basic induction training, which includes filing of an First Information Report (FIR), crime detection, evidence collection, apart from commando training, management, law and forensics.
Recently, Gujarat police recruited 509 SIs as intelligence officers, of which 109 were women, and all of them are being trained at Karai.

After completing their Training in Gujarat, will Goa Police be better equipped &better trained , to collect more Haftas.?
Will Goa Police be trained, how to "kiss" the back sides of Goa`s Corrupt Politicians, for a few crumbs .
Aren`t Goa`s Politicians immoral "Prostitutes" , that charge clients & all and sundry for their Corrupt Services.
Does the new North Goa Supdt. of Police, Pryianka Khasyap & her husband feel, that this sort of Prostitution by Goan Politicians should be legalised/legitimised?
I guess CM Parrikar will call this "Unlawful" while in Opposition and brand it "Irregular " while in Government.
After paying Politicians hefty amounts,to get Jobs in the Police Force, I cannot see what any training will do for these Cops.
How else will the cops be able to recover the cost of obtaining their jobs and paying off their loans .?
Goa Police are a demoralised force. No amount of Training will correct this & their lethargy. That is what an average man on the streets thinks anyway.
