NCP demands white paper on illegal drug trade
GOANEWS DESK, PANAJI | 27 July 2013 18:26 IST

The Nationalist Congress Party has demanded a white paper on illegal drug trade in Goa.
NCP chief spokesperson Trajano D’Mello has also demanded that the home portfolio be handeed over to deputy chief minister Francisco D’Souza as the chief minister hass failed to control the drug abuse.
According to D’Mello, the failure of their own chief minister Manohar Parrikar, as the home minister, has been exposed by ruling BJP’s own miniser and MLA.
He pointed out public startements of tourism minister Dilip Parulekar and Calangute MLA Michael Lobo that the illegal drug trade is still going on in the state.
It means Parrikar is shiedling the drug traders’ lobby operational in the state, since no action has been taken in spite of ruling party MLAs meeting the police higher ups in this regard.
He also observed that no action has come in spite of Parulekar, who is also Saligao MLA, personally talking to the chief minister.
D’Mello also demanded that the shack owners be provided CC TV cameras with 90 per cent subsidy if the government wants to make the CC TV cameras compulsory on all the shacks.
NCP state president Nilkanth Halarnkar and general secretary Avinash Bhosle were also present at the press conference.

Perhaps Trajano D’Mello should ask his chums /partners in the Congress Party, Ravi & Roy Naik to prepare a parallel "White Paper".
After all & as for the Goan Public, Roy & Ravi are the most experienced in this trade. They make a living off it ,and from it.
Mickky Pacheco, should be made the Chairman to oversee the White Paper.
