Goa reaches Kerala to attract tourists

Goa Tourism is organising a three-day ‘Goa Fiesta’ until Saturday in Thiruvanathpuram in Kerala.

The event would be held at Fortune Hotel here, which is open for the general public from 11 am to 8 pm.

The event aims to highlight various nuances of Goa tourism and promote it as a cultural and holiday destination among travellers from Kerala, an official spokesman said.

Participants will be able to get a glimpse of the Goan culture through its art, handicrafts and authentic Goan cuisine.

It will also give visitors an opportunity to interact with Goa Tourism officials and get more details on packages promoted by Goa Tourism Development Corporation.

The cultural programme will include live band performances. Stalls display Goan handicrafts as well sell Goan cuisine. Films on Goa Tourism will be played and souvenirs distributed.
