Colvale jail this year; VIPs welcome : Parrikar

GOANEWS DESK, PANAJI | 30 April 2013 19:53 IST

Goa government has decided to complete the Colvale jail by year end since it is needed for 'certain people', said chief minister Manohar Parrikar.

He did not name anybody, but in a lighter vein also said that he would even prepare air conditioned suits for some VIPs.

“See, I said this and somebody sitting there (treasury benches) asking me whether it is for Churchill (Alemao),” said Parrikar, with a smiling face.

The chief minister in fact said he wants to apologise to all Goans that he had not fulfilled his election promise of having a jail in Colvale as soon as he comes to power.

He also thanked the opposition Congressman, especially opposition leader Pratapsing Rane, for reminding him about the Colvale jail.

Though it was to be completed it by next year, he said he would now get it completed this year itself.

“I will not only complete the construction, but I will also see that it is full”, he quipped.

Mr Chief Minister...please make sure that the iron Bars at the jail ,will be painted in "Gold " colour for the Alemao family. !!!

And for good measure , please ensure you install a separate "Water Tank" for them too.

Please also ensure that all versions of the "Holy Bible" are available for Churchill Alemao. You will have to insist that these Bibles are kissable.

Another idea would be to permit a "Monopoly" Board game with dis-used Indian currency for some "pastime". The dis-used currency could be housed in a Suitcase.

Why just Churchill Alemao? The whole Alemao family is a disgrace to "God", their religion, local people and Goa at large.

They are an extremely dirty & corrupt family ....each an every member.

They may be loved in Benaulim / Varca, but they are hated & detested elsewhere.

Read any forum, an one will get a measure of hate for this family.

As soon as Goa & Goans get rid of this family, there will be much less corruption & fear in south Goa .
