Goa declares summer packages

Goa tourism department has declared special summer packages for the tourists who prefer to live in its state-run resorts.
A press communiqué released by Goa’s tourism department has declared two such special summer packages – Beach Bumming for three nights and four days as well as Coastal Delight for four nights and five days.
Valid till mid-June, visitors have the option of choosing their location to stay at Miramar, Colva or Panaji Residencies run by the Goa Tourism Development Corporation.
The package also includes two full days of sightseeing on GTDC-run coaches in North and South Goa and a river cruise on boat Shantadurga or Santa Monica.
The ‘Beach-Bumming’ package for three nights and four days are being charged at Rs 7270 per couple for an AC room under Continental Plan (CP) and Rs 8990 for an AC Deluxe room.
This is inclusive of all taxes, states the press note.
The ‘Coastal Delight’ package for four nights and five days includes a luxurious stay at Miramar Residency and Calangute Residency for two nights each.
It is priced at Rs 21,100 per couple under CP for an AC Deluxe Cottage.
Guests can avail of pick-up and drop from the airport/railway station/bus stand as well as welcome drink and cookies upon arrival.
GTDC has offered to customize packages for families and groups as per their requirements.
