Mentally ill girl confined for 6 days for sexual lust

A 20-year old girl, suffering with mental illness, was confined for six days and sexually assaulted by two Goan village youth.
Mapusa police have arrested Chandrakant and Pradip Malik, both from Latambarsem in Bicholim taluka, who abducted the victim girl from Mapusa.
She was missing since 13 April and was traced by the police yesterday.
She was confined for almost six days.
Police conducted search and traced the girl after her father filed a police complaint.
She was abducted and confined to an unknown destination to fulfil their sexual lust, stated the police statement.
“We are still investigating the case and the kind of sexual assault is yet to be established”, Mapusa PI Tushar Vernekar told goanews.com.
Both the accused have been arrested for abduction, confinement and sexual assault.
