After successfully managing to scuttle the entry of Playboy club in Goa, BJP MLA Michael Lobo today said that he will demand that any such brands would not be allowed anywhere in the State.
“The question is here is not only about Playboy. I will seek clarification from the Chief Minister whether any similar brands would be allowed in the State,” Lobo told reporters in the legislative assembly complex.
Goa government today had announced that the application by former congress legislator Agnelo fernandes to set up Playboy club would be rejected.
“My fight is not over the playboy but all the brands which projects women as a commodity,” Lobo said demanding that the state government should frame a policy wherein such brands would not be allowed in the State.
The BJP legislator said that once we reject Playboy’s application, some other club may come up in Goa.
Lobo, representing Calangute constituency, had initiated the objection for the Playboy club claming that the club would promote vulgarity.
