Ex-Speaker/Dy Speaker on BC Commission

Former speaker and the deputy speaker of the Bharatiya Janata Party have been accommodated on the Goa State Commission for Backward Classes.
Former speaker Vishwas Satarkar has been appointed the Chairman of the Commission.
Similarly, former deputy speaker Narahari Haldankar has been appointed the member.
The other members of the Commission are Cynthia Fernandes, Shrikant Anant Chodankar and photo journalist Soiru M Komarpant.
The official press note released in this regard stated that the chairman is being appointed on full-time basis.
Other members however are appointed on part time honourary basis.
Their term is for three years.
