Suman Motels plans a resort in Goa

Members of Suman Motels, a firm having biggest chain of small resorts all over the country, would shortly have a privilege of spending a holiday in Goa and Sindhudurg in the company resorts, equipped even with a water park.
The company, which grew up with a concept of highway users' club, is planning to build two resorts along the Konkan coast as a part its expansion plan in the western zone.
"Our strategy is to concentrate on middle class tourism and rural real estate", says Rahul Kharat, the director. He is having around 12 three start resorts all over India.
Suman motel is coming up with a unique resort village project at Mangao in Maharashtra, a hill station, which would have seven sectors under one roof. Besides tourism-related facilities like helicopter service, it would also have rubber plantation, food processing and marketing as its part.
On the same lines, Kharat discloses his plans to have resorts in Goa and Sindhudurg of Rs 10 crore each. Besides the water park, he has plans to start a catamaran service from Mumbai to Goa, on the lines of one it is presently running from Mumbai to Aligarh.
