Ban proposal only after NIA chargesheet: Ravi
GOANEWS DESK, PANAJI | 10 May 2010 22:34 IST

Home Minister Ravi Naik has clarified that Goa government will think about banning Sanatan Sanstha only after the National Investigation Agency (NIA) files chargesheet in the Margao bomb blast case.
Confusion had prevailed on the issue after Chief Minister Digambar Kamat told media that he has not received any recommendation from the Home Ministry regarding ban on Sanstha."We will think about the issue of ban after NIA chargesheet. DGP will examine the chargesheet and recommend further action", said Ravi.
The issue of ban on Sanatan is debated for the last six months after four of their 'sadhak' were arrested by investigation agencies in connection with the Margao bomb blasts on the eve of Diwali.
