Mhadei row may affect IFFI, Kannada films to back out?

The Mahadayi river water sharing row between Karnataka and Goa has cast a shadow on the 46th International Film Festival of India (IFFI), scheduled to be held in Goa from November 20 to 30.

Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC) has appealed to the film fraternity to stay away from the event to express “solidarity with the ongoing movement for implementation of the project”, according to KFCC President Thomas D’Souza.
