Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar today sought a detailed report from police in connection with a drunken driving incident wherein a woman executive allegedly knocked down two persons with her car on Sunday.

"This is a serious case. I have asked police to give me a detailed report. Don't take it casually. Drunken driving should be taken seriously," Parrikar told the Legislative Assembly.

Shobhika Gaur (30), working with a reputed group which runs the chain of hospitals, was booked by city police for allegedly driving her car in the no-entry zone on the city's busy D B Bandodkar Road in an inebriated condition and ramming her vehicle into a bike, police had said.

One of the bike-borne youths is currently battling for his life in a state-run Goa Medical College and Hospital. Gaur was arrested yesterday and later released on bail.

When contacted, a spokesman for the hospital group, where Gaur is posted at, said the authorities have initiated an inquiry.

"We will completely abide by the legal processes and will take a call on the employee once legal formalities are closed to the satisfaction of governing authorities," the spokesman said in a media statement issued here today. is now on Telegram & also Youtube. Mr Parrikar, saar (sir).

IS there one Law for Sons & Daughters of MLA`s & Senior Government officers & Police officials and another for Common Man in Goa?

Do you remember the incident where the son of a senior Police Officer and IGP of Goa, Mr KD Singh crashed into 2 electricity poles, damaging both poles and An Official Car.

You see Mr Parrikar, this son of the IGP was on a "Drunken Trajectory" while driving on Goan roads. Also with him was the son of the ex-Power Minister Alexio Sequeira.

Now I am just wondering if the Electricty Poles were to blame by coming towards him or was he drunkenly heading towards the Poles?

The loss to the Goan Taxpayer was mooted at RS 4 Lakhs +, which to date has not been recovered.

Is there any chance we Goans can have this money re-imbursed back to us so we can utilise it on essential projects for the needy.

You see Mr Parrikar, I do not believe ex-IGP KD Singh was a poor man.

It is now a well established fact that any Police Official posted to Goa ,other than having a leisurely holiday & a great siesta & fiesta, becomes very rich, overnight.

The by-word & secret for this acquisition of immense wealth is called "Hafta". It is done through the "wink" of ones eyes.

Goa is now known as the Land of "Milk & Honey" for many out- of -state corrupt people/Officials. Add to that Goan streets are paved in Gold.

Don't you think so too?

This must be Sudin Davilikars clear vision of the great Indian Culture too. (May I stress not GOAN CULTURE).
