AAP wants Phaldesai’s head for scandals and criminal behaviour

Aam Aadmi Party wants Sanguem MLA Subhash Phaldesai to resign, alleging that he is involved into number of scandals and criminal behaviour.
According to AAP, Phaldesai has direct commercial links between his immediate family and the company that has been given extraordinary support by the government agencies to establish a beer factory in his constituency.
Reminding about the 11 questions it had raised regarding the legal, technical, environmental and social implications of the project, AAP said these questions were also raised in the Assembly but opposition did not counter the weak response from the government.
“It appears that the draconian IPB is nothing but a vehicle for MLAs such as Phaldesai to indulge into brazen illegalities for financial gain”, said a press note release in this regard.
AAP also pointed out that Phaldesai was directly named in the complaint by Caurem panch and tribal activist Ravindra Velip, in the shocking incident of his assault in the precincts of Sada jail.
However, the Goa Police, under obvious pressure of the BJP-led government, has failed to even file an FIR in this incident, and instead a media smear campaign led by Phaldesai was launched against Velip, the party stated.
It also recalled that Phaldesai was accused of assaulting mining activists, including an 80-year old lady, during a protest, when he was the ZP member.
More recently, in 2014, he was also reportedly involved in a physical altercation with Tivim MLA Kiran Kandolkar in Delhi, in which he even sustained injuries to his head as well as his ego.
AAP has thus condemns "goonda raj" and demanded that the CM immediately obtains resignation of Phaldesai and launch an independent probe into the reports of his nepotism and despotism.

AAP is right, we need a honest MLA in Sanguem. However I think the people of Goa are not familiar with the white caps.
