Amidst political crisis existing in the state, Goa's chief secretary Dev Singh Negi was transferred from the state to Andaman and Nicobar.
The state administration disclosed that Kiran Dhingra will take over as the chief secretary of the state. Though the transfer orders have come during the political crisis looming large in the state, Mr Negi himself termed this as a sheer coincidence.
``I discussed the issue with the chief minister and he agreed to relieve me as Andaman and Nicobar is undergoing a process of rehabilitation,' he said.
Mr Negi stated that he would also consult Governor S C Jamir before getting relieved as the state is undergoing political turmoil.
