Churchill's daughter Sharon threatened me, alleges police lawyer

Adv Rajeev Gomes, the special public prosecutor, has complained to the police that he has danger to his life from the family of Churchill Alemao, the former PWD minister, who is presently in the jail.
In a complaint filed at the Panaji police station, Adv Gomes has alleged that Churchill’s daughter Sharon pointed out at him outside Panaji court and said: “I will take care of this guy.”
She is likely to be summoned by Panaji police tomorrow.
The hearing of Alemao’s bail application started today before the CBI court.
After hearing Alemao’s counsel Adv Arun D’Sa, the arguments of crime branch of Goa police, started by Adv Gomes, have remained inconclusive.
It would continue tomorrow from 2.30 pm onwards.
Alemao is presently serving a judicial custody at Colvale after he was arrested two months ago in the Louis Berger bribery case.
According to Gomes, the incident took place at around 1.30 pm when he was walking towards his car along with his associate lawyers.
He alleges that Sharon was sitting in the front seat, next to the driver, from where she pointed out at him and said those threatening words.
While providing the car number and the model, Adv Gomes has also said that his three associates are witness to the incident.
Panaji PI Sidhant Shirodkar told goanws.com that he would start the inquiry from tomorrow, by summoning Sharon Alemao.
Efforts made by goanews.com to contact Sharon to get her comments however could not bear any fruit.
