Goa-Mumbai 4-lane highway project hits the road; finally

After much opposition, the forest department has finally decided to dereserve 9.03 hectares of forest land for the expansion of the Mumbai-Goa highway in Raigad district.
An order to this effect was issued by the state forest department on October 1.
