Babush induction not on agenda: Parsekar
PTI, PANAJI | 26 June 2015 18:07 IST

Amid speculations in political circles about induction of expelled Congress MLA Atanasio Monserratte in Goa Cabinet, Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar today said "the induction is not on the agenda."
"No one has even discussed about the induction of Monserratte into the state Cabinet," said Parsekar.
When asked if he rules out the new induction, the CM said, "Why should I even comment when the issue never came for discussion before me?"
Monserratte, a legislator from St Cruz constituency, was recently expelled by Congress party for helping BJP in the Panaji by-election.
The rumours of his induction were fuelled after Monserratte met Union Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar in New Delhi yesterday.
Parsekar further said Monserratte's induction has never been discussed in any of the meetings held by the party.
