BSc Pass: AAP says No; Sudin says Yes

PTI, PANAJI | 22 June 2015 21:47 IST

Aam Admi Party today produced a document to back its claim that Goa public works department minister Sudin Dhavalikar had given wrong information about his education in his election affidavit.

The minister, however, said he stood by his affidavit.

Goa AAP secretary Walmiki Naik today produced lists, obtained from Chowgule College, of those who had passed from the college in 1978-79.

According to Dhavalikar he did his BSc from Chowgule College in Margao in 1978-79.

"The information provided by the college shows the lists of persons who passed out having completed the BSc in 1980, as well in 1978 and 1979. Dhavalikar's name doesn't appear in any of the lists," Naik said.

When contacted, Dhavalikar, an MGP leader, said the information in the affidavit was true and he stood by it. "If AAP wants it may complain to Election Commission," he said.

Naik also produced copies of marksheets from the University of Bombay showing Dhavalikar's failed attempts to clear the BSc examination in April 1979 and October 1979.

"AAP Goa exhorts the Chief Minister to now take immediate cognisance of this serious matter by removing the minister from cabinet immediately and directing independent impartial investigations under the supervision of High Court," he said.

After AAP first made the allegation on June 18, Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar had said as the matter concerned the Election Commission, he would not comment on it.

N. Fernandes, London,

Issue of Dilip Parulekar's B.Com is not new. Willi D'Souza brought it up when he lost against Parulekar. And Parulekr clarified that he forgot to write B.Com-Fail, and instead wrote B.Com. He subsequently apologized and moved on. It is useless to spend time and ink on such issues. Of course, Dhavlikar is yet to come clean on his qualification issue though.

Other issues like garbage, sanitation, transportation, resource utilization should also be given priority by the opposition.

As Predicted, Dilip Parulekar, is now on the firing line for falsely claiming he is a pass.

Next keep a watch on Laximikant Parulekar. He has many skeletons too.

Accepting HUSH (bribes) money for TIRACOL Gilf Course is quite revealing.

What else has money been accepted for.

Who takes Bribes?...the Government or its corrupt officials?

The Degree obtained by Sudin Dhavilikar = Bachelor of the Society of Cheaters...Bsc.

Kindly do not accuse Dhavalikar baab. He has a degree from Adhyatma Vishwavidyalaya founded by Guru JB Athavale at Ramnathi. He has passed with 61% and shortly will be declared a Saint ( equivalent to PhD).

What is the value of UGC recognized degrees? They are 'Tamasik', influenced by Western thought. Only 'Sadhaks' with degrees from the Hindutvavist school of Guru will survive the Armageddon. Rest will perish. And those who criticize his prophecy will languish in the hell controlled by ' Mantrik'. And who can harm Dhavalikarji and other two MGP MLAs who are protected by the Armour of JB's blessings?

Never expect the truth from Goan MLA`S.

All have skeletons in their cupboards.

Goan MLA`s suffer from BP or chest pains if going to jail.

If caught red handed , they threaten to file defamation cases.

Keep your eyes open on tainted Dilip Parulekar. He has many skeletons in his cupboard.

He is a very shady character.

He uses his position as MLA to mint money....not promote Goa Tourism.

Goa Tourism has no future under his watch.
