Goa Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar will present his first budget during the session scheduled to be held in mid-March.
Parsekar told PTI that the budget session would be held in the second fortnight of March, while the budget has already being taken for drafting.
This would be the first budget to be presented by Parsekar, who was sworn-in as the chief minister on November 9, last year, after Manohar Parrikar was elevated as Union Defence minister.
The chief minister said the budget session would be a short one, which would begin with the address by State Governor Mridula Sinha.
