Want to celebrate Christmas or New Year in Goa and no tickets available? No worry. Konkan railway has arranged special trains from Mumbai.

There are two trains, but not every day.

Premium Superfast train:

This train will leave Mumbai (Bandra) on 21^st, 23^rd, 28^th and 30^th December, at 11.40, little before midnight.

It will reach Madgao by 1 pm in the afternoon the next day. The train number is 9009.

The same train, Bandra-Madgao (T) AC Premium, will leave for Mumbai on 22^nd, 24^th, 29^th and 31^st December, at 3.30 pm from Madgao.

It will reach Mumbai at 4.10 am. The train number is 9010.

You can join your office the same day.

This train will have only five halts - Borivali, Vasai Rd, Panvel, Ratnagiri and Sawantwadi.

It will have 19 coaches.

Special Train:

This train (111) will leave from Mumbai (Lokmanya Tilak) on 20^th and 27^th December and 3^rd January after midnight, at 1.10 am.

It will reach Madgao by afternoon, at 12.20 pm.

The same train (112) will leave from Madgao on 19^th and 26^th December and 2^nd January, at 12.30 pm in the afternoon.

It will reach Mumbai at midnight, at 0.20 am.

The train will halt at Thane, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Kudal, Thivim and Karmali stations.

It will have Three 2-tier AC coaches, Four 3-tier AC coaches, Three Second Class Sleeper coaches, Two Power Cars and One Pantry Car.
