CM Parsekar takes Vajpayee's blessings

Goa chief minister Laxmikant Parsekar met BJP patriarch Atal Bihari Vajpayee in New Delhi to seek his blessings before beginning his new innings.
"I had not got any opportunity to meet Vajpayeeji in the five years. It was my wish to take his blessings," Parsekar said, who met the veteran leader in New Delhi on Sunday.
The former Prime Minister has been ailing for quite sometime.
"Since, he is unwell no one is allowed to meet him. But after I took oath (as chief minister) I strongly felt that I should seek his blessings," he added.
Parsekar said that he visited Vajpayee for a brief time.
The Goa Chief Minister also met party president Amit Shahduring his two-day long Delhi visit.
He also met Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a brief time before the swearing in of group of union ministers.
"Modiji was busy with his appointments and he has asked me to meet him after 15 days," Parsekar said.
