Sidhanath Buyao with Ajit Kadkade

Noted music composer and singer Sidhanath Buyao is all set to release his new music album ‘Konkani Unplugged’, with legendary classical singer Ajit Kadkade and other famous Bollywood singers lending their voice.

The other singers in the new Konkani album, besides Kadkade, are Swapnil Bandodkar, Bela Shende, Vaishali Samant and Jaanavi Prabhu Arora.

Young Goan singer Puja Dalvi will also debut in the album. Buyao himself has also recorded a song with Kadkade, on a theme of Krishna and Christ.

The lyrics are penned by noted writer and lyricist Adv. Uday Bhembre, Saiesh Palondikar, Nandan Hegde Desai and Sanjay Borkar.

The revolutionary song written by late Manoharrai Sardesai and sung by Goem Shahir Ulhas Buyao has also found the place in this unique album.

While experimenting on this music project, Buyao has concentrated on acoustic music arrangements by engaging famous Bengali & Bollywood musicians.

Buyao, who has established his recording studio in Mumbai, has 15 music albums to his credit.

Many of them have received appreciation and he was recipient of Global Konkani Music Award for his composition from ‘Ek Natem’.

He was also bestowed with Srujan Puraskar of Art and Culture Department-Goa.

The album has been recorded at SB studio in Mumbai.

According to Buyao, the team has focused on all aspects, to create a unique sounding album, for the first time in Konkani.
