No apprehension among minorities about Modi: Parrikar

Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar today said there are no apprehensions among minorities in the state about Narendra Modi becoming prime minister.

"There are no apprehensions (about Modi becoming PM)," Parrikar told reporters here, four days after senior BJP leader and Goa Deputy Chief Minister Francis D'Souza had said that minorities continue to be "apprehensive" about Modi.

There are certain people who are "trying to create the apprehensions," Parrikar claimed.

Goa has 27 per cent of Catholic population.

D'Souza had told reporters on March 29 that "the apprehension (about Modi becoming Prime Minister) was always there. It is still there."

Responding to a query on whether this "apprehension" will adversely impact electoral prospects of BJP candidates, D'Souza had said, "I don't have any apprehensions. I said minorities will have apprehensions."

Secularism Means: Who Do Not Bring Anti-Conversion Law. Who Don’t Demolish Mandirs, Churches, Masjids And Other Religious Structures. Who Do Not Hate Another Religion People. Who Do Not Use Bad Words For Another Religion. Who Do Not Do Corruptions. At Present We Can See Only AAP, Who Do Not Indulge In Communal & Corrupt Politics.

Goa May Be Under Parrikar But Not Election Commission. Even Parrikar Has Shouted Supreme Court For Banning Mining In Goa. Parrikar Is A Small Hitler Of Goa. He Has The Blessings From The Big Hitler Of Gujarat.

In past these same elements were frightening the minorities about Vajpayee. But Vajpayee did not harm the interest of minorities. Now who are these elements, identify. They are those politicians who fear about their unemployment. Those so called intelligentsia who are periodically rewarded and favoured. Those contractors who are likely to lose business. Rest need not be worried if Modi comes to power. Has Parrikar harmed minorities? He surely can harm the guilties of past regime.
