Franky Monteiro bags RTI activist award

Franky Monteiro from Loutolim is the first to bag the RTI activist award from Goa.
He has been awarded with late Waman Vishnu Kamat RTI activist award, instituted by Kamat family from Madkai.
The RTI activist would be given the award at the second RTI convention, to be held at Siolim tomorrow.
The award was announced last year at the first RTI convention held in Madkai, by veteran journalist Prakash Kamat.
The award winner was chosen by a three-member panel, comprising of Aires Rodrigues, Albertina Almeida and Dr Dattaram Desai, President of Goa RTI Forum.
The award comprises of Rs.5000 and a citation, declared Digambar Naik, vice president of Goa RTI Forum.

GOVERMENT WORKES SHOULD DO THEIR JOB GOOOD AND PROPERLY THAN PEOPLE OF GOA WILL GET THEIR RIGHTS
