Saudi warns against 'free visa'

The Government of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) has warned against entering to Saudi Arabia for employment on so called “free visa”.
A press communiqué in this regard has been issued by Government of Goa, since many Goans to Saudi Arabia for employment.
The authorities of Saudi Arabia have pointed out that there is no such visa, called ‘free visa’, under the Saudi Labour regulations.
The concerned Saudi authorities have also stressed that they have to work only with their employers, whose names are mentioned in the entry visa.
It has also pointed out that the relevant rules in Saudi Arabia prohibit persons from taking jobs with business other than their original employers.
The authorities have also warned that any contravention in this regard will be considered a clear violation of the rules and regulations of residence and employment in Saudi Arabia.
