Quit politics, fight for only Dabolim: Churchill

Former minister Churchill Alemao has declared that he is not interested in politics but only in fighting only for Dabolim air port.

Supporters of Alemao have thus mooted a proposal of bringing together all the organisations fighting for Dabolim air port, making him its leader.

Speaking at the meeting in Margao, Alemao also declared that he will not contest the Lok Sabha election.

The meeting also urged Luizinho Faleiro, who has been appointed AICC general secretary, to impress upon the Congress high command to retain only Dabolim air port and scrap the proposal for Mopa air port.

The meeting was addressed by his usual supporters – Radharao Gracias, Anacleto Viegas, Mike Mehta, Raul Pereira etc.

Alemao claimed that Goa would be saved if Dabolim air port is saved, while warning not to underestimate him.

He also flayed all the leaders including chief minister Manohar Parrikar as well as his party leaders like South Goa MP Francisco Sardinha and Rajya Sabha MP Shantaram Naik, who have promoted both Dabolim and Mopa air ports.

“Dabolim air port would be closed the minute Mopa air port becomes operational”, he said.

Alemao also said Goa cannot have two air ports, but at the same time suggested Quitol in Quepem taluka as an alternate site instead of Mopa.

He blamed both former chief ministers - Bhausaheb Bandodkar and Pratapsing Rane – for allotting land for Zuari Agro industry and Bits Pilani educational complex.

 

“Dabolim air port could very well have been expanded if this land is taken back from the Birlas”, he said.

He also opposed naming South Goa Collectorate complex after Matanhy Saldanha, stating that it should have been named after Jack Sequeira, who fought and succeeded in retaining Goa’s identity through the Opinion Poll in 1967.

 Though the meeting took a resolution appealing to all the anti-Mopa organisations to come together, Radharao Gracias alleged that Goa Only for Dabolim led by Fr Eremito Rebello is sponsored by the BJP government.

He also brought it to the notice of the audience that Mopa is taken ahead by the Congress and not the BJP, at state as well as central level, since it is a union government project.

Anacleto Viegas alleged that Mopa is being promoted only for the benefit of land around it, which is purchased by the leaders of both the Congress and the BJP.

He also appealed to the members to throw out Navy from Dabolim with a fierce agitation on the lines of making Konkani the official language.

How can a buffoon, who is so desperate to have his daughter win a seat, at any cost ,ever be out of politics?



This claim is self defeating .

Churchill has never adhered to his previous promises or commitments. What is so different now?

He has become legendary , for changing his Political Party loyalties, much faster than he changes his underwear.



On the subject of naming of the Airport & Collectorate Building (Margao),he once again demonstrates utter nonsense & dumbness.

An Airport has National & International Connotations.

Jack De Sequeira has the admiration of each and every Goan, local,National & international, for giving them a unique identity & unique State.

Mathany Saldanha has been more prominent in the South of Goa.

It is be-fitting to name the Airport (Dabolim)...or even MOPA after Jack Sequeira rather than the Collectorate Building.

Churchill Alemao is a classic case of crab mentality. He takes objection in naming the South Goa collectorate after a great Goan late Mr. Matanhy Saldanha who has not left any stone unturned in order to protect Goa & Goans particularly the marginalised . I wonder what prevented him naming any project or even a Road after Dr. Jack de Sequeira when he was in power for almost 15-20 yrs. Was Churchill too busy in looting Goa ? Further more, we do not require his leadership to fight for Dabolim Airport. People of Goa and South Goa in particular has thrown his leadership in the dustbin of history and that is where he will stay for the rest of his life. Churchill's leadership has been a disaster to Goa. His colleagues like Radharao & Anacleto knows to exploit all movements to make money for themselves like Churchill. We very well remember what happened during Konkani agitation. Radharao only knows to throw shit at others but do not know that he is stinking of the same.

Just a thought.

Churchill claims that Goa cannot have 2 Airports.



And so are many others fighting this cause such as Goans for Dabolim Only( GOD).

However, has Churchill realised ,that Goa cannot have 4 Alemao`s at the Legislature? ...or is he yet to realise this.?

Goa had 2 Alemao`s, Churchill & "Sida sadha" Joaquim.

And both have been of no benefit to Goa.



If Mopa is portrayed as a Land Scam....then the Alemao`s should start to realise that they too are now certified as Goa`s biggest "scamster`s" .They are seen as criminally inclined .

Their criminality begun with smuggling....and has graduated to much worse ....Raping (looting) of Public Funds/Tax Payers money.

While in power Churchill was fast asleep on the Mopa issue. Looks like Anacleto Viegas and Radharao Gracias were also fast asleep with him on the same bed.

Now I wonder who should be accused of waking each other up or disturbing the sleep of one another?

Has Churchill ever realised, that had he been active on the issue of MOPA (along with his 2 prominent South Goan Clowns),no other Organisation would be required to fight this cause.? ........I doubt it.

It seems like Churchill`s idle mind, (since his election defeat) has become the Devils` workshop. He now seems to have also roped in, his 2 evil disciples.

Goans everywhere, have realised that these 3 Clowns( or Tiatrists) mentioned, are no more than "Time-Servers" & "Fair-Weather friends".

Is there any reason, why these 3 clowns have not joined in the "Goans for Dabolim " (GOD) movement,but chose to form their own?

And will Goans be equally silly & fooled once again , to trust them (Churchill, Anacleto & Radharao) instead of a highly respected & educated "Holy Man" in Fr.Eremito?.

The only people that are likely to believe anything either... Churchill Alemao,Anacleto Viegas or Radharao Gracia are; the "Crumb-Eaters" of Navelim & Varca/ Benaulim.

Most of these "Crumb-Eaters are also more likely to be those at the very bottom of the Educational or knowledge League. At their best , they suffer from "Short Term Memory" loss. At their worst, they are more likely to swear allegiance & loyalty to those that are guided by immorality and at the helm of illegalities and criminality.

They appear either at Elections or on other Goan issues, where "Financial Deals" (or a financial kill) can be made and then disappear.

I suspect on the Mopa issue, they are living in hope that they will be entertained by the "Money Men" to drop their Anti-Mopa cause.

Churchill Alemao, Anacleto and Radharao are still convinced that Goans , specially in the South are gullible and of low intelligence or intellectual levels.

It is time they realise that Goans are far more educated these days and are fully able to distinguish between what is good and what is bad for them.

There are only negative adjectives' that can describe the 3 individuals mentioned....and that is ...they are "SHAMELESS" and "MORALLY BANKRUPT and no longer "TRUSTWORTHY".

Goa State Government should boost the productions of milk, rice, vegetables, fruits, etc. Concentrate on food production. Forget MOPA. Remember AGRICULTURE. MOPA means closing of DABOLIM Airport and loss of huge fertile land.
